We offer both in-person and telehealth services, making high-quality therapy accessible and flexible for your needs. Aligned: Holistic Therapy & Wellness is a self-pay practice, which allows us to provide personalized, flexible care without the restrictions of insurance networks. This means you and your therapist can collaborate on a treatment plan that truly supports your needs, free from outside limitations. For those wishing to utilize their out-of-network insurance benefits, we are happy to provide superbills that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

My approach as a counselor
As a counselor, I believe everyone deserves a safe space for reflection, processing, and healing. My approach is shaped by my Appalachian upbringing, where I learned the value of authenticity, hard work, and community connection. These roots influence how I practice today—with warmth, directness, and a deep respect for each person's unique journey.
I bring a blend of clinical expertise and genuine compassion to our work together. Having practiced in diverse settings—from inpatient psychiatry to telehealth, from schools to crisis stabilization—I've developed versatility in addressing a wide range of concerns.

I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, significant life transitions, and women's health issues, with particular interest in maternal mental health and parent-child attachment.
What sets my approach apart is my commitment to meeting you exactly where you are. For those new to counseling, I take time to demystify the process and build comfort. For those facing complex challenges, I draw from evidence-based practices while honoring your lived experience. My background in diverse clinical environments allows me to adapt my approach to what works best for you.

My Approach as a Counselor

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to reclaim your story. My approach blends evidence-based methods with innovative, holistic therapies to create a path forward that is tailored to each client’s unique needs.

What sets me apart is my advanced certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and my training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). EMDR is a powerful, research-backed therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so that they no longer feel overwhelming.

For many of my clients, EMDR provides not only relief from symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, but also a sense of freedom from patterns that once felt unchangeable. I integrate EMDR into treatment when appropriate, guiding clients through a structured yet compassionate process that supports deep and lasting healing.

In addition, my training in KAP expands the therapeutic tools I can offer. Through a partnership with Journey Clinical and their medical team, I am able to integrate KAP into counseling for clients who are appropriate candidates. KAP offers an opportunity to access new perspectives, deepen self-awareness, and break through barriers that traditional talk therapy alone may not reach. When combined with the integration work we do in session, this approach helps clients find alignment and resilience in a way that honors both science and the human spirit.

My role is to provide a safe container, professional guidance, and tools that help you process, rebuild, and grow. Whether we are using EMDR, KAP, or more traditional modalities, my focus is on helping you reconnect with your inner strength, move beyond survival, and step into a fuller, more authentic life.
